Well, I have been a piece of work lately. I try to get away with being bad because, well, it's fun! However, my people aren't very happy with me when I'm bad. I guess they don't realize that:
a. I am still technically a puppy
b. I am almost a teenager in dog years
c. It's boring and lonely when they aren't home.
Here are a few of my newest games (the ones I'm proud of!):
1. Knock at the door until someone answers and then run away, this can go on for hours (and it has...so many times). This is definately my favorite game! My people have now installed a rope and they put me on it when they let me out and then reel me in like a fish. Kinda puts a damper on that game.
2. Take things off of the counter when nobody's home. I usually never destroy the things I take, I just want my peeps to know I don't like to be by myself. I usually get put in time out when I play this game. I can get away with it most of the time if Auntie Em's the first one home. All she ever does is say "Oh, Chester" or "What did you do, this is bad". I feel a little guilty, but whatever!
3. I bark when I want attention (usually in the wee hours of the morning or really late at night). Everybody except Mom (or grandma, I guess) sleeps through my loud, obnoxious barking. This game results in getting locked up or muzzled.
Now, for the good things. I am learning to keep my head off of the table when it's dinner time for the people. I have figured out that the more I keep my head off of the table, the more food I get! I have also been a really good boy when Auntie Em brushes me. We, okay Auntie Em, decided that the garage is the new place to be groomed. I try to stand very still and cooperate. If I am really good it goes fast and I get a treat at the end!
I can't think of anything else to write, so I think this is it for now. Hopefully, the pictures will be posted soon (like later today!)
